夕暮れの中、デビューしたばかりの新船「金波銀波（きんぱぎんぱ）」に乗って、いざ熱海へ帰港！このフェリーは、実は既存船の「イルドバカンス三世号」を大幅に改装したものであるらしい。名前は、月や日の光よって金や銀に輝く美しい波を表す言葉である。
In the twilight, I returned to Atami Port on board the newly launched ferry, "Kinpa Ginpa"! Actually, this ferry is a major remodel of the existing ship "Ile de Vacances III." The name refers to the beautiful waves that shine gold and silver in the light of the moon and sun.
就航は、２０２５年７月１２日という新顔である。船体の色は、初島の岩と、塗れるほど初島が推薦しているレモンをイメージしている。初島とレモンの関係は、以前に記事に記したので、ご参照いただきたい。

4階層の船体内にはそれぞれ特徴があり、片道30分では到底満喫しきれないほど、魅力的な設備が充実している。コンセプトは、”船、まるごと初島”だそうである。
In the each four floor of the ferry, there was its own unique character. And the
ship is packed with so many attractive facilities that it is impossible to fully enjoy them all in just 30 minutes one way The concept is "The ferry itself is whole
Hatsushima".
最上階に当たる３階の展望デッキは、爽やかな人工芝の中央にトランポリンのようなベンチがあり、カップルや子供の乗客が寛いでいた。
The observation deck is on the third floor which is the top floor of the ferry. The space was covered by the refreshing artificial turf. And there was a trampoline-like bench at the center. On the unique bench, couples and children were
relaxing.
これまで乗船してきたイル・ド・バカンスとは違って、前方の景色が開けており、視野に入る余計なものがない。
Unlike the previous ferry I had been on, "Ile de Vacance", the view ahead was open and there was nothing extraneous in view.
こちらは、展望台から後方の眺めである。
The fllowing is the reae view from the observation deck.
2階に降りると、不思議な形のベンチが林立している。実はここは、子供の遊び場を彷彿とさせるエリアとして設計されている。このベンチは、竹馬を模して作成されている。また、床に点在する黒い六角形は、若い方は御存じかどうか解らないが、昭和世代が幼少の頃によく遊んだ”けんけんぱ”の足跡である。
When I went down to the second floor, I found a row of benches with strange shapes. In fact, this area was designed to resemble a children's playground.
The benches are modeled after stilts. In addition, the black hexagons scattered on the floor are footprints of "Kenkenpa," a game that children of Showa
generation often played. But I'm not sure whether younger people know this
game now.
2階の最後部は、後方の景色を眺められる展望エリアになっており、竹馬のベンチに腰掛けながら、徐々に小さくなっていく初島を望める。日暮れ時だとなお、島での楽しかった旅への寂寥感が湧く。The very back of the second floor is an observation area where you can enjoy
the view behind the ferry. With sitting on a stilt bench, you can watch
Hatsushima gradually get smaller. When it is at dusk, you would feel a sense of loneliness for the fun trip you had on the island especially.
2階には、さらに操舵室もある。ガラス窓からは、実際に船を操縦している船員の様子を窺うことができる。There is also a wheelhouse on the second floor. Through the glass windows, you can see the crew actually steering the ship.
観覧窓の手元には、木製の操舵輪まで設置されているので、子供はこれを手に、まるで自分が船を動かしている感覚も楽しむことができよう。
There's even a wooden steering wheel installed before the observation window. So children can hold it and enjoy the real feeling of steering the ship themselves.
1階は室内空間が広く、魅力が盛りだくさんであった。
The first floor was spacious and full of charm.左右の窓際には二人掛けのシートがあるので、2人きりで碧い海原とその先に棚引く伊豆半島の情景を眺めることができる。There are two-seater seats by the windows on both sides of the floor. Therefore, just the two of you can enjoy the view of the blue ocean and the Izu Peninsula
stretching out beyond.
１階中央の席は窓に向いた５～6人掛けのボックス席になっており、家族や友人らとわいわいと楽しく海景を眺めることができる。The seats in the center of the first floor are box seats which face the windows
and can seat 5-6 people. I suppose that you would enjoy the sea view with
family and friends at the area.
